- She bore her worries, weighted down by the pain of 28 working years,

- she spent them moving from one place to another. At Chifa Hospital in Gaza, she soothed patients’ pain

- and brough her help, without hesitating, to everyone who needed it.

- In spite of difficult conditions,

- she dedicated herself to her occupation, which brought her everyone’s admiration.

- The American organization of the UN for the inhabitants who granted her

- the International Prize for Health and Women’s Dignity, in 2010.

- Umm Saleh’s work is human work, first of all. Working on this assumption, our job as human beings is to help one another.

- I feel really safe with her, a great lady. We owe her due respect,

- she works a lot. God give her strength. As I am a civil servant, I can understand her pain.

- Nurse Visa Ahmed Cherim, 50, is in charge of a family of 13 people,

- 5 of whom are studying in Palestinian universities and 3 in high school,

- granted prizes to doctors and nurses,

- wounded and martyrs of attacks and wars in the Gaza Strip.

- This prize covers specific measures, measures that are to give a service to women and children

- during the crises undergone by the women who can find no help.

- And in difficult conditions, those measures take into account people’s dedication to work in war and bombing time.

- This prize provided this service to babies and women.

- Nurse Visa also said she would follow her task.

- This is the image of Palestinian women who have, like men, rights and duties.
