Abstract

The artist Fouad Venou: his life, his works in dancing and the beginning of his band “Sarab” and the band’s works. 1- People’s perception of this art, the history of dancing in Palestine, the “Dabka” in Palestine. 2- Fouad Venou started dancing in 2001 with a band (a secret one) in Ramallah. 3- Fouad Venou is the owner of “El Asil Café”. 4- The establishment of “Sarab” in 2006, it was composed of 4 young men and 4 young women until it reached 48 members. 5- The band’s artistic works. His memories: the massacre of Deir Yassin and the first Intifada. People’s dreams of visiting Palestine and the countries of the world. 6- Presentation of the band’s rehearsal. 7- His future work: the player of the Dice and the shadow of Arab Music (El Madih). 8- Attempt to embody the Palestinian memory through dancing.
