Abstract

The program " Lights from Carmel " presents an image of the Arabs who live in the Green Line . It presents the personalities, regions ,programs , events and social habits within the Green Line .The political aspects are completely excluded from it . This episode deals with festival occasions, Christmas which is celebrated by all Christians on the occasion of the birth of Jesus ( peace be upon him ). The staff of the program presents pictures of the atmosphere of Al- Eid and the joy of the young and the old on this occasion . Hani Khouri, the owner of a gallery which sells gifts, talks about the gifts that people buy to celebrate Christmas. Ramez talks about the celebrations organized by different institutions. Scouts and clubs manifestations are part of the celebrations. Images of kids decorating trees and playing. Interview with people who celebrate Christmas and their hopes during this feast for freedom and peace in Palestine .
