Abstract

This report from the program " Palestine, this morning " is about air pollution in Bait Awa’s village and its causes. What caused air pollution was the burning of old materials to extract copper and iron. This had had negative effects on people, the environment and olive trees. The villagers went to the municipality and police stations to solve the problem but it was in vain. Colonel Ramdan Awad explains the limited role of the police in these cases .It is up to judges to decide of such cases. In the program there are also citizen’s opinions about the problem and their complaints because of pollution and smoke.
