Abstract

The Palestinian popular folk arts' band presents a dance based on a new approach in dealing with our traditional artistic heritage which passed through important stages in contemporary history. The work shows images that are nearly similar which highlight three periods from the history of colonization which Palestine has lived These periods are: The Ottoman colonization shown at the premiere and entitled: no Ottoman curfew . The British colonization shown after and entitled: no English curfew The Israeli colonization shown in the third and the last one and entitled: no Israeli curfew .
