Abstract

This tape deals with the" Arnona " taxes imposed by Israel on owners, whether in Jerusalem or other areas targeted by the occupation authorities, Israel aims at hardening their daily life and emptying the city of any Arab presence. these taxes which exceed the Palestinians' capacities have led to severe deterioration of their economic situation . Interviews with some of the residents of Jerusalem who gave us their views on what is happening in Jerusalem and on the economic situation of their families. We hosted in this episode the Director of the Chamber of Commerce Abu Saud, who shows the seriousness of what is happening in Jerusalem especially as the occupation authorities do not provide any services for every tax derived by the vulnerable Palestinian citizens .
