Abstract

The programme " Old castles cradle" presents the village of El Koor and the region of Tulkaram. The area played an important role due to its location on the commercial axis between the Levant and Egypt. The episode presents general views of the village and the main archaeological sites, its location on a mount overlooking the Red Sea. The villagers' main activities are related to farming and livestock. All the inhabitants of the village descended from one the Geos family.
