Abstract

The province of Jenin is making an attempt to highlight its history and the history of Palestine, through projects in favor of heritage protection, such as the reconstruction and the restoration of the churches, their advertizing and the organization of touristic tours there. Extracts of images of the Bourkine Church will be presented. This latter is considered to be the most important church in Jenin, as it is the forth oldest church in the world. Extracts of the heritage sites in Jenin and of the Israeli occupying forces’ repeated attempts to destroy the Palestinian people’s history.
