AbstractReporting on Palestinian Salha Hamadine, winner of the Hans Christian Andersen Literature Award (children literature). The girl talks about her story entitled "Hantouch", about the cruel lives of the people of the village "Arab Al-Jahaline", with her pleasant child’s imagination. The story is about a young girl called Salha, who owns "Hantouch", a splendid flying lamb which takes her to Spain, far away from her small village, sad because of colonization, bullet-shootings and mines. In Barcelona, Salha meets football star Messi and plays with him and "Hantouch". The star asks her to stay in Spain and to play in his club, but she refuses and prefers to go back to her country to take care of her little lambs in the place of her imprisoned father. She returns to her village accompanied by Messi, removes the mines from the ground and builds a large stadium for the children. Salha Hamadine dreams of meeting her father who was sentenced to life imprisonment in Israeli jails, to show him her award and for him to be proud of it.
