Abstract

This documentary presents extracts of the creative industry of mosaics in Palestine. Raed Khalil, the executive producer of the Jericho Mosaic Centre, tells us about the debut of this occupation, the stages of production as along as its different types, that is to say natural mosaics, made out of stone, and the industrial one into which it developed its primitive role of floor ornament, having a role to play in History. The documentary also presents an exhibition of the glass mosaic that covers the Dome of the Rock and shows the role played by this art on the memory of Palestinian history. We will also see a presentation of the main works in the centre.
