Abstract

Presentation of traditional fishing in western Liguria. The net, called " trawl", is thrown into the sea from ships and removed by men on the the beach. Donatela Bianchiexchanges a few words about the subject, in ligure dialect, with fishermen, and asks about a noble family in the region; the Burali, whse house is next to the beach.
