Abstract

The villages of Casacalenda, in Molise, and Guardiaregia, to the limit of the Molise and Campania, have a thick and almost impenetrable scrub. The documentary focusses on the history and the traditions in the mountains of Campania. Robbers took refuge at the bottom of the gorges and terrorized the inhabitants of the surrounding villages. The film also presents the diversity of flora and the different animal species in the Apennines of Campania.
