Abstract

Discovery of the flora and fauna of the Nebrodi mountains park in Sicily. This park is the habitat of wild horses. We can also find some amphibians such as, the grass snake and the green frog. The last couple of griffins disappeared in 1965, but today, thanks to a reintegration program, a few couples have been reintroduced. The fora of the park is also varied and there is a rare prehistoric plant that grows nowhere else. The inhabitants' major activities are breeding sheep and producing cheese. The region is also famous for producing ceramics and fabrics.
