Abstract

The documentary is devoted to the production of milk according to the biological treatment of a farm, in the surroundings of Catania, in Sicily, where cows of Friesian and Modicana race are bred. Giorgio Scribano indicate the extensive criteria that are the basis of livestock. Eugenio Antoci explains the advantages of homeopathic care the animals receive. Giuseppe Barrese speaks about the structures of the cowsheds where the animals are housed when they are not in the pasture. Carmelo La Cognata illustrates the controls to which farmers are subjected to obtain the certification of biological producers.
