Abstract

Presentation of Andalo, a mountain village that is part of the high plateau of the Paganella, enshrined in the Brenta Dolomites, in the region of Trentino-Alto-Adige. The documentary focuses on the economic resources relatde to the timber industry, with sawmills powered water from the mountains, and the bovine breeding. Hostel activity started in the old farmhouse. The comment evokes the wine and gastronomical traditions of the mountain village, once dominated by thePrince-Bishops of the Trento. A visit to the village of Molveno, located at the edge of the eponymous lake and a focus on the origins of the lake that came out of a landslide in the Neolithic and on the environmental impact of the hydro-electric plant that was built.
