Abstract

Mario Tozzi takes us to the discovery of Aosta valley and the Piedmont. He crosses te villages of the valley, wanders along the streets of Aosta and shows us the major monuments, including Augustus' arch, the Praetorian door, the Roman theatre and the cathedral. He interviews the Regional Director of the cultural heritage in a room of the "Collegiada" during the restoration of a mosaic. Mario Tozzi then visits the towers, the courtyard and the rooms of a castle dating back to the Middle Ages, he wanders along the streets of Ivrea showing us the major monuments: the castle and the cathedral. Tozzi passes the rice fields of the region of Vercelli and visits Vercelli showing us the church of Sant'Andrea, the cathedral, the chapter house and the seminar.
