Abstract

Documentary devoted to the particular relief of the Sibyllin mountains and their traditions: the consequences of the Karst phenomenon on the territory, the landscape of the plain of Castelluccio of Norcia, the legends on the presence in these laces of sibyls. The report also focuses on the traditional cultivation of Castelluccio lentils, to particular qualities of this variety and to the choice of the organic method. The film also mentions the average cost of the vegetables, the gathering technique, the different steps of harvesting and the changes due to the introduction of new machines. A peasant woman tells how she once used to work.
