Abstract

Evocation of the song "Sapore di sale", written by Gino Paoli during his holidays in Viareggio and the Versilia, a very touristy area even before the sixties, when the coast of High Tuscany recorded a boom of holidaymakers. Magrini is interviewed and talks about the reluctance of people to be photographed on the beach. Niccolini,meanwhile, evokes the so-called "regulars" of the Versilia, the vacationers who come here on holiday for a long time.
