Abstract

Commentary on the historical and architectural patrimony of the city of Pisa. Shots of the university and the building of the Clock (palazzo dell'Orlogio), scene of the tragic history of the count Ugolino (inserted iconography) narrated by Dante Alighieri in the 22th Hell Song. Views of the square of the Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli) with the baptistery, the cathedral, the tower and the cemetery. The writer Renzo Castelli talks about the harmonic relationships between the four buildings representing the four fundamental stages of human life.
