Abstract

Discovery of the Venitian handicraft. In the company of journalist Osvaldo Bevilacqua, we visit a textile workshop which produces high quality of velvet. Shots of three centuries old looms, perfectly operational. The interview of Rodolfo Bevilacqua, president of the ancient house of weaving Luigi Bevilacqua, sheds light on the production and the quality of the textiles realized according to the old method. Alessandra Mirella, owner of a fancy costumes shop, is interviewed about the rental and selling prices. During the Carnival, shots of people wearing 17th century venetian costumes in San Marco Square.
