Abstract

Commentary on the history of the city of Rome during the Renaissance, in particular on the areas of the old city, called "rioni": rione Ponte and rione Parione, with their palaces, churches and monuments. Views of via del Governo vecchio, Castel Sant'Angelo, via dei Coronari. Details of Raphael frescoes and chapel designed by Michelangelo in Santa Maria della Pace church. Boys are playing football in the street and men are working in traditional crafts.
