Abstract

Discovering the Slovenian Istria throught its history, traditions, naturalistic and artistic beauties. The commentary is focused on the harbour of Capodistria (Koper in slovenian), a city full of monuments and arts from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods of time. Views of the old town centre and the romanesque church of Santa Trinità with the fresco “Macabre Dance”. Views of Izola, hometown of the musician Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770) who had a square built in his name. Views of Pirano, with the marina and the duomo.
