Abstract

Faenza, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, is noted since the XV century for its manufacture of Faience. Pieces on display at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza and at the temporary exhibits “the good of the ugly ones” and “Bertozzi and Casoni Nothing is the way it seems, maybe”. The art reviewer Philippe Daverio interviews Stefano Collina, councilor for ceramics, about the future of the State Institute of Art for the Faenza ceramics.
