Abstract

History, traditions and natural resources of the province of Oristano, Sardinia. The race of Santa Giusta is a tradition in the region: It is run on boats with reeds called "Fassoni". Visit the church of San Salvatore Sinis and rituals dedicated to Christ the Saviour. The sea plays an important role in the activities of the province: there is fishing of the mullet and the treatment of fish eggs is made there. Discovery of the marine protected area of the Sinai Peninsula and the Phoenician ruins of the citadel of Tharros.
