Abstract

Documentary about the culture of the grape Picolit in the Friuli region. Elizabeth and Giannola Bulfoni are producers of grappa. They produce this eau-de-vie from the grape Picolit. They explain the origin of the name "grappa" and the history and evolution of the distillation technique of this alcohol in the province of Udine. We also learn which types of foods go best with grappa and the discovery ends with the tasting of this famous Italian brandy.
