Abstract

Documentary on the island of Caprera, located in the archipelago of La Maddalena, on the northeast coast of Sardinia. Evocation of the fauna and flora present in the area. Giuseppe Garibaldi moved to the island in 1856 and remained attached to it until the end of his life. He died at Caprera in 1882. Today, his home and various places where he lived constitute a museum where artifacts illustrating his expeditions and his struggles and also his peasant life on the island can be admired. Garibaldi is buried alongside his family in Caprera.
