Abstract

Escapade with Licia Colo on the island of Capri. Discovery of its many natural and tourisict attractions: the beauty of the coast, the funicular connecting the villages of Marina Grande in Capri and the narrow streets. Capri was appreciated since ancient times. Augustus built a palace there in 29 BC . The Emperor Tiberius lived in the Villa Jovis permanently from 27 to 37 BC . In the early twentieth century, the German industrialist Krupp, a lover, as many of his compatriots, of the island, built a footpath winding along the cliff to the sea, it has been reopened in 2008.
