Abstract

Rimini, a renowned seaside resort located in Emilia-Romagna, has a rich historical and architectural heritage. Founded by the Romans in the third century BC , the city is mentioned by Dante in "Hell" through the story of two lovers, Paolo and Francesca. Fellini, a native of the town, filmed "I Vitelloni" and "Amarcord " there . In gastronomy, the "piadina", is one of the culinary specialties of the Emilia-Romagna. The "piadina" consists of a thin bread made from wheat flour, lard (or olive oil), salt and water, traditionally cooked in a terracotta dish (teggia in Romagna) or on a plate of metal or stone. The dough is folded and can be stuffed with sweet or savory ingredients (ham, cheese, etc ...).
