Abstract

Discovery, along with Marco Hagge, of the architectural and historical features of the medieval village of Turin, which stands inside the Parco del Valentino. This town was actually built ex-nihilo between 1882 and 1884, by a group of artists for the International Exhibition of 1884. The Portuguese architect Alfredo d'Andrade fashioned most of its clothing and objects, and directed the work of the village. Some photographs from the International Exhibition illustrate the subject.
