Abstract

Osvaldo Bevilacqua invites us to the discovery of the Salento region, located at the south-eastern extremity of the Apulia region (Puglia). The comment focuses on the tourist attractions, the typical gastronomic products, and sheds light on the traditional folk dance “pizzica”, as well as the famous embroidery known as "punto Maglie". Bevilacqua also raises the question of the territory’ protection. The video shows some farmers at work in typical farms from Apulia, and many aerial views of the Salento, including Maglie, Supersano, Gallipoli and Otranto. In graphic frame, tourist map of Apulia.
