Abstract

From the museum Certosa di San Martino in Naples, art reviewer Philippe Daverio shows paintings inspired by the Bourbons and a painting by De Albertis, picturing fishing scenes in front of King Ferdinand IV in Solanto. Views of the "dell’Orsa di Cinisi” tunny-fishing net in Porticello (Palermo), and the establishment Florio in Favignana, fully restored. Interview with Giuseppe called the "Ripper" (nickname of the person in charge to cut off the heads of tunas) who shows the different departments of the establishment where the tuna is processed, from slaughter to conservation.
