The art reviewer Philippe Daverio talks about the history of the Braidense Library and the Art Gallery in Milan and underlines the important role they had for the school of painting and carving in Italy. He demonstrates how Brera influenced the architecture of Milan, the cathedral in particular. Exteriors and interiors of the Braidense library, of the Duomo and of the Pinacoteca of Brera.
