Abstract

Escapade in the valley of Montefeltro and evocation of the history of the medieval village of Auditore, subject of a bitter struggle between the lords of Montefeltro and Malatesta, interested in this village because of its strategic location. Interview with a resident who tells the story of the arrival of German troops in the country during the battle around the Gothic Line in 1944. Views of the valley landscapes of Montefeltro: the river Foglia, Auditore, roads, hills and old mills now abandoned. Visit of the historical museum of Gothic Line: motorcycles, jeeps and military uniforms from the Second World War.
