- We are in Latronico, in the heart of Pollino National Park, with the extraordinary scenario of Monte Alpi behind me.

- This initiative aims at highlighting this park, one of the biggest parks in Europe, immersed in the heart of the Mediterranean region, in-between 2 seas:

- the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Ionian Sea.

- It extends on a very large surface, of almost 200, 000 hectares of protected territory, in-between 2 regions, Calabria and Basilicata, and that sums up to 56 towns.

- We have a mission to fulfill, to preserve this land, to enhance the extraordinary biodiversity present here, the endangered flora and fauna,

- but that we want to preserve through community projects.

- We also have another mission, to keep our city centers alive, all of them beautiful.

- And the Park offers thermal baths, here in Latronico, it is possible to practice various sports, ranging from trekking to rafting.

- The regions set works of major highlighting.

- During last year, we launched the “Arte Pollino” campaign that had Pollino famous worldwide.

- The guests artists are English-Indian Anish Kapoor, Belgian Carsten Holler and Italian Giuseppe Penone who, through their sensitivity,

- made 3 great works in 3 valleys of Pollino National Park, here in Latronico.

- In the valley of the Sinni, Anish Kapoor realizes Earth Cinema.

- It is a 45 meters and 8 meter-high artificial breech with a window inside that projects us in the core of the earth.

- The artist’s invitation is to explore this land from the inside.

- Recalling the sulphur sources, the Neolitic caves present on the Latronico land.
