Abstract

Tgr Mountains sheds light on the historical heritage of the little town of Guardia Piemontese, in Southern Italy. Around 1300, Occitan people from Piemonte fled persecution and immigrate in Calabria. Historian Enzo Stancati evokes the history of the country and its inhabitants and of the use of the Occitan language, still taught in schools in the small town.
