Abstract

In Southern Morocco, the ksours and kasbahs represent an architectual,cultural and social heritage. The ksar is a single building surrounded by a great wall with a single entrance, inhabited by a group of people; whereas the kasbah is a protected structure surrounded by walls, but belongs to one person or one family .
