Abstract

Eid El Adha feast is a commemoration of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son to God. Like all Muslims, Moroccans perform this ritual according to their own customs and traditions. After the morning prayer, they proceed to the sacrifice of sheep, then to the preparation of skewered liver whose fumes are poured from all the kitchens. Throughout the day, people pay visits to their relatives and friends, wishing a happy feast to each other while taking some kebabs and drinking cups of tea.
