Abstract

On the night of February 29th 1960 at 11.41 more precisely a powerful earthquake of a magnitude 5.7 shook the town of Agadir in southern Morocco killing 15.000 people and damaging countless materials. The visit of the Late Mohamed V accompained by Prince Moulay El Rachid aimed to relieve and comfort Agadir's population.
