Abstract

Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims, a month of blessings and prayers. Habits during the holy month are common to all Muslim countries; however, each country or city can have its own traditions in terms of culture and history. In Moroccan cities, people are used to staying up until "Shour" time (just before sunrise); the most pious spend their night reading the Koran and religious books or praying; others visit relatives.
