Abstract

Report within the Nomads ' Festival in TanTan, about the Saharan tent . The term tent in the saharian community has a connotation beyond the traditional concept of housing and a place to live in, it is a symbol of family and parents. The tent in the Moroccan desert is ready to be dismounted and taken from place to place wherever the nomads go. The tent is made of sheep wool , black goats' hair and camels' hair. This handicraft goes through several stages:the weaving and yarn of wool using primitive tools that have never changed for centuries.
