Abstract

The documentary sheds light on the architectural aspects of many traditional houses in the old town in Marrakesh. The program takes El Bahia Palace as an architectural model where many architectural school styles mix : Moroccan, Arab, Islamic and Andalusian. The program deals also with the means and methods used in the renovation of “Riadhs” in Marrakesh so as to maintain their authenticity and history.
