The National library in Morocco is full of important manuscripts which are considered as documents of the Moroccan civilization. The Kingdom’s library has set a program to preserve these manuscripts from loss and damage and ensure their safety so that the future generations can use them. Special sections for restoration and maintenance have been created within the library, as well as institutes for the conservation of books. A special program has also been developed for the conservation of manuscipts, both manually and automatically.Type
