Abstract

The history of Jamaâ Lafna Square dates back to the creation of the town of Marrakesh (1070-1071). It has been its symbol since then. Its vitality and its attraction are the pride of its population. The square is a place for shows and entertainment, for the inhabitants and for the tourists; it is the living center of Marrakesh and an idle place for worldwide visitors. They come to appreciate the different shows, in particular those of snake tamers, the subject of this program.
