The establishment of Al Karaouine mosque's library in Fes dates back to the mid-of the 8th century AH .At first,it was a small library,established near Al Karaouine's mosque for the purpose of teaching . It was established thanks to the Moroccan Sultan Abu Inane El Marini in 750 AH who had provided it with valuable and rare literary works .This library compiled a treasure of rare manuscripts ,it is also a source of knowledge for students and researchers. The library plays an important role in the dissemination of religion among Muslims in the western world and in Andalusia . A pause on the library and its Andalusian mosque’s architecture, the rare manuscripts in the library and the modern techniques used to preserve and maintain them.Type
