Abstract

Sakoura is an oasis situated at a distance of 40 kms north – east of Ouarzazate on a height of 1150 metres. This oasis is considered among the southern regions with a cultural and civilzational heritage leading to a collective mode of stability ,with the contribution of both natural and human characteristics .This civilizational heritage distinguishes the south- eastern region from the Great Atlas in general. We cite as examples the Ksours and the Casbahs in the" Dades Bassin", “Sekoura”, and “Tadgha " .These form unique architectural designs which fit the environment and the geography of the desert.
