- Now, they can breathe again. The first ones which emerged are the traces of Almoravid Rabat.

- It is Almoravid Rabat famous for Rabat Tachfine or Rabat de Beni Terqa, in comparison to the tribe who inhabited that Rabat.

- Then we uncovered other traces that date back to the time of the Middle Ages,

- like this wall that follows the course of the Qasba Doudaya, dating back to the Almohade Dynasty.

- Major discoveries dating back to the time between the Almohade Dynasty

- and the end of the 19th century, the time when the third discovery was made.

- The third discovery is this arch and this porch, which are considered to be the major discovery of this site

- revealed by the excavations. This would have been a path linking Consulate Street in the old medina

- to the beach of the old town of Rabat, during Alaouite time, more precisely under Moulay Rachid’s reign.

- Other discoveries done in parallel which date back to the same times, walls, towers, rooms

- and several pieces of pottery and jewelry assert the historical resources

- and turn the site into one of the major archeological discoveries

- of the end of the 20th century-beginning of the 21st century, in Morocco.
