Abstract

A TV report on archeological discoveries found in Rabat near AL Oudaya Kasbah and dating back to the Almoravid , Almohad and Al Aboui periods. The discoveries are buildings dating back to Rabat Tashfine or Rabat Beni Terka, the tribe that inhabited Rabat ; a wall from the Almoravid period and finally a curved gate (Bab) that dates back to the reign of Moulay Rachid (15th century) and which used to be a passageway connecting Al Kanasel street to the city beach . In addition to these three discoveries,there are other buildings,towers,plates,pots and jewellery all belonging to the same period . .
