- Mohammed VI’s radio of the Holy Koran,

- Mohammed VI’s radio of the Holy Koran, founded in collaboration between the National Broadcasting Society and the Minister for Awqaf and Islamic Affairs

- is a radio with an exclusively religious character. Its programs will be broadcast during 10 hours during Ramadan, a duration that could be enlarged in the coming periods.

- The broadcasting will cover the following towns and their surroundings:

- Oujda, Fez, Meknes, Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakesh, Agadir,

- the other regions of the national territory will be covered in another phase.

- This radio is opened to every category of people of the Moroccan society,

- it will communicate with children as it will with youth, women and whole families,

- it will tackle every subject that worry the audience and in particular the youth of today.

- The programs of the new radio are specialized in religious affairs and reflect Moroccan people’s image towards religion,

- based on the authentic values of the country and on the unity of faith and doctrine.

- Among those programs, some on consciousness-raising about behaviors, exchanges and cults, along with contemporary topics of Moroccan society.

- Something that drives us to add this station is mainly its contribution to the strengthening of Moroccan identity,

- the way Moroccan people loved Islam, they embraced it, believed in it and practiced,

- a love for Islam, peace, tolerance and opening.

- The opening of this radio station came at a time of propagation of false ideas of Muslim religion.

- So, it goes on correcting those ideas in spreading the religion of peace and struggling against extremism.
