Abstract

Khouribga has known important developments through times, especially after independence when it benefited from special attention from the late King Hassan II in 1966 . The city has known an important economic growth such as the construction of many mosques used as koranic schools; the construction of many football stadiums and fields for equestrian sports . The city is also known for its big and famous weekly market. For its honey production and the Tbourida which is a seasonal activity. Today khouribga is a tourisic city in which many film forums are organized as the Forth Forum for the African Cinema which was held from 17th to 24th march 1990 .
