Abstract

In the framework of human development and national initiative, many cooperatives in the field of traditional industry were created. The family and solidarity cooperative was created in 2007. It is composed of 7 members with tasks suggested by the handicraft delegate. It aims at teaching girls who failed at school crafts they can benefit from in their lives. Nevertheless, these cooperatives suffer from many problems, mainly the marketing problem as the products are stored and limited to local exhibition. Here lies the role of the traditional industry body, in assisting them by arranging their participation in national and European fairs to promote and sell their products.
