Abstract

The episode relates the opening of the Forum of Fes on the Union for the Mediterranean, organized by the Moroccan Centre for strategic studies. The theme of this session focuses on the challenges of education, science and culture, considering that education is mentioned in the founding declaration of the Union and that culture is among the priorities for the rapprochement between peoples. - The Union for the Mediterranean emerges this time in its cultural and educational sector.

- So that education emerged in the constitutive declaration of the Union as one of the priorities for the construction of the Mediterranean.

- between both banks of the Mediterranean and investing this convergence at the service of world peace.

- We cannot imagine the future of the Mediterranean area

- be it at the level of the Union for the Mediterranean, or towards the bilateral relationship and relationships in general,

- between the northern and southern banks of the Mediterranean.

- Fes forum around the Union for the Mediterranean is a space for thoughts that units distinguished figures from politics, knowledge and culture.

- They united around a topic of a major importance for the future of the Mediterranean basin.

- The fact that there is special forum for the Union for the Mediterranean in Morocco

- is a great step in the proper direction. It pushes things more and more towards consolidating the relationships between the two banks of the Mediterranean.

- into which he praised the Franco-Moroccan relationships and praised Morocco’s efforts, in order to secure the success of this Mediterranean project.

- The President of the Republic launched a call to the Mediterranean people in Tangier,

- and this is an opportunity to congratulate Morocco and to say it is one of our major partners in the Mediterranean basin.

- This forum will tackle, for 3 days, a series of challenges linked to the conditions of education and culture,
